So this weekend I did almost nothing related to school and had a lot of fun. The main reason for this is that the pond near has ice over than 20 cm which means that we are allowed to skate on it. I just loved playing hockey a lot. On Friday we had a prom with the students from Dale. It was really fun! I had this nice black and white polka dot dress.
Yesterday I woke up early (for the weekend) at 7 o'clock and then went to study in a classroom for a couple of hours and finished my e-systems lab report, with what I am not happy about. Then around 2 p.m. I went to the pond and played for about an hour. It was extremely fun. We have some really talented people here. At least in one sport here I am average or better. Later in the evening I went to the pool and swam for about an hour. We were in the sauna, yes we have a sauna here, when the people at the Haugland center turned the lights out at 9 p.m. sharp. Luckily we got out of the sauna without anything happening. I walked back to the room ( few minutes) to take a shower and during that time my hair froze. I stayed up until 1 a.m then slept for a couple of hours, woke up at 3 a.m to watch MInnesota Wild vs. Colorado Avalanche game. Unfortunately I couldn't stream it and then went back to sleep. Woke up again around 8 o'clock did nothing for the next 3 hours, went to get skates and ate brunch. worked a little bit more, left to the pond and played for about 3 hours. Came back ate dinner and now I'm writing this blog post. Today I'll be going back to the pond to fix the ice, by putting water to the cracks (and there are a lot of cracks). This is because we are thinking about playing a house competition tomorrow and Tuesday.
We have normal classes only on Monday and Tuesday and then we are having First Aid-training and after that we will have Saturday free and on Sunday we start MUN. I'm so happy that MUN is soon over. I have nothing against it but I will have much more time again after MUN has ended. About not having time, I really miss my free-block!
I still won't post pictures since I have not had time/ enthusiasm to edit them .
