Finally the moment has come that Model United Nations is over. The actual days were not as bad as I thought that they would be. None of my resolutions, or the ones I supported passed, since we did not any single problem. War was declared from many parties, euro will probably break etc.
The best and the worst part is the same. Last night / morning ( 3 a.m) I was woken up to represent French Republic in the Crisis committee. As usual the topic of the crisis committee was Kosovo and Serbia and as usual nations did not agree on anything. The veto-countries resolution was voted down and after that veto-countries voted each resolution down. The situation ended in the declaration of world war 3. This was the worst part, but I loved crisis committee work, since there everything is really short and fast. We ended around 7 when the rest of the campus woke up.
This some of the things that we did in MUN today. I'll post tomorrow more. Now to sleep...
Ps. I mentioned in a earlier post that I am applying to Ridderrennet, a skiing competition for physically disabled, I unfortunately received an email today that I was not selected for it. Of course I'm disappointed, but I believe that the people chosen to represent our school will benefit more from the experience, since Ridderrennet, would just be a collection of things I have done before. Also I did not put that much effort into the application. Of course, if someone selected would for some reason not take part and I was offered the chance to replace them I would happily accept the place.
